yes that&#039;s the best thing about bamboo, it&#039;s highly stable in the presence of moisture. 

I don&#039;t know how humid East Texas is, but it sure can&#039;t beat Singapore. Our average humidity level is over 80%, and it reaches 100% on some days. :)</description>

Yes bamboo is a great choice for floors. What&#039;s wrong with your current oak floor? Unless it has been badly damaged, a re-sanding and re-coating might be all you need.
